    Default Maschine LED feedback

    Hi all,

I'm trying to create LED feedback for the following mappings in Maschine using Traktor Pro 2.

    - When Deck is playing lit the button LED green and when not playing, show as red.
    - When I have FX unit on, lit the LED green and when not on, show as red.

I have mapped out Play/Pause (Deck Common) Out to the play button that toggles Play/Pause. It does show green when I press the button but not stay on when the track plays.

Same thing with The FX Unit on Out.

Any ideas how to make this work? Does the Maschine buttons need to be a certain type in Controller Editor to function properly? I have they now set so that Hit = Poly Pressure, Mode = Trigger and Press = Note, Value = 127, Threshold Off = 0%, On = 1%. LED On is set for MIDI out in dual color mode.

Set them to ether Note Or CC message.
In the controller manager, when you add the output command for play/pause, look under button options section and under the Midi Range tab you will see min and max value.

Min = OFF State (stopped deck)
Max = ON State (deck is playing)

Click on the value bar and drag it up or down until you see correct colors for your button.

Hi Stewe, got it working with CC but needed to change the LED ON for the Maschine Pads from "For Midi Out" to "For Midi In". For other buttons in Maschine it needs to be "For Midi Out". Thanks for the help
