Default DJ Software that writes BPM to file name

    Hey guys,

As the title states do you guys know any software that writes BPM to the track name itself? Like I use keyfinder for keys & it'll write the key directly into the file name.

    Ex. "Drake - On One 7A 103bpm"

    Thanks

Mixed in Key - use the RENAME FILES option.

MP3Tag can populate the file name from tags, and it’s free.

It’s bloody awesome and I couldn’t live without it.

So much this. Mp3Tag is one of the best inventions.... ever.... zomg. Just for renaming beatport filenames alone, let alone everything else.

For his purpose, you would right click on all the tunes, choose "convert tag to filename," then input %artist% - %title% - %bpm% and hit okay.

I use KID3, you can make it read/write tags into filenames and vice versa. Really handy to remove or clean some tag fields you don't use as well and make filenames capitalized, etc

Also - if you're into tagging, check out beaTunes. Really handy utility for making sure ALL of your files are tagged/named consistently. Really useful.
