X-Session Pro is a midi mixer, a little under $100. Also the Hercules controllers are cheap, even a numark total control is cheaper than the VCI.

    Default For Plastik

    hi plastick,

i see that you want to buy some gear. Well how much money are you able to spend? I posted my VCI-100 for sale at 300 dollars. Heres the link. http://www.djtechtools.com/forum/sho...=8628#post8628

i can make you a deal just because im really trying to get rid of my controller since i want to switch to serato with a different midi controller. I can sell it for $250 with a soundcard. The sound card is a gigaport AG soundcard which is really simple but it perfect for starting off. Let me know and check out my other posting. Thanks for your time.

You could check out the korg nano devices, they are very cheap and very functional.

The akai is nice, but in my eyes has a big flaw:
It can only operate in absolute mode and not in relative mode.
