Default Music File Support Help Please!!🙃

Hey, I got my DN HS5500’s today, but hey, none of my bullshit stuff I’ve downloaded is recognized by it. I know it has to be a mp3/wav, but I deleted the MPEGs and have all mp3s and nothing is recognized in the system. I’ve had 3 tracks be recognized, mp3s, but they are not now, I am very confused.

Compatible files are on page 40 (I’m not tech savvy but I get the mp3 and MPEG1 part)

Any help would be HUGELY appreciated

You need to find a decent, downloadable, batch file converter.

    http://www.converterlite.com/

I've used this for years with NO issues.

Did you create a database using Denon Music Manager?

Dude I don’t even know what database means in this specific context. A folder with music and another thingy with direction? I’m really not trying to be stupid.

Edit: fyi, havn’t tried the convertlite thing yet, will later today, but it’s obvious there’s a hunk of this I do not understand so if someone could clear it up that’d be great.

You probably need to create your playlists and export to your portable media.

Can you elaborate on how the files are "not recognized"?

Are the files listed under the File Name or Folder category? If not, make sure the USB drive is formatted as FAT32.
If the files are listed, what happens when you load one? Do you get an error? If so, what is the error?

You need to analyze your files with the Denon DJ Music Manager software for anything to show up in the other categories (Artist, Album, Title, etc.)
