Default OpenDeck midi platform - Make your own midi controllers

I'm back to thinking about making a custom 4 channel midi controlled mixer. Anyone used one of these for a midi brain before? I'm curious about it as it seems perfect for my needs, I just want to know if there's any downside to it. Any help welcomed, as usual.

Did this thing ever end up going for sale? I saw the article, but never saw the unit become available on their website.

I was using teensies previously but have since switched over to Livid Brains (and brain Jr.) and absolutely love the platform.

That's kind of the reason I'm asking. I first noticed this a few days ago and was wondering what other info there was. It seems perfect for a builder with no experience of coding. I'm that kind of guy, an electrician who can solder and fix - but I'm not learning a new language just for the sake of a few quid/dollars/Euros etc.

I was really hoping it was gonna go somewhere and still hope that it does. I know how to develop and just don't like coding for midi. :-p It takes away from the creative flow. Devices like this and Livid Brain give you the freedom to do mock ups quickly and focus on the hardware itself.

Hi. I am the creator of OpenDeck. Yes, I've sold 10 units for now. New batch is on the way (currently sent to manufacture). I should have the boards within 2-3 weeks. If anyone wants to preorder a board please message me.
