I need some TINY speakers for my set-up.
I think (shock!) I might have to go with some desktop computer type powered speakers...
Any suggestions for some that won’t break the bank, but that sound half decent? They don’t have to be especially loud.

I don't have a suggestion, but I always thought it could be good to have a range of micro-PA systems. Like, basically, consumer sized versions of the PAs you get for performance. Lower powered, but with the same type of rack mount amplifiers, connectors, speaker designs. Maybe have them similar sized to studio monitors, with optional subs.

How tiny ? ... How Cheap ?
I got these Edifier R1600T Monitors and they really pack a punch and sound absolutely fantastic.
There is also the IK multimedia iLoud ..Great reviews but a little pricey
I'm still on the lookout for the loudest/smallest (breaking the rules of physics) monitor to take in to venues with me.
What's tiny, but kicks like crazy?
Cheers

If you're looking for a tiny footprint something like this seems like a good monitor speaker

Had a pair of Altos that both died with the same issue within a couple of months of each other. They'd been stored indoors for a couple of years (at the DJWORX studio), used rarely. Took them out for two gigs and they died. Apparently a common fault with the built in amplifier.

How tiny and what for?
The klipsch pro media 2.1 setup sounds good for $150...not particularly detailed but better than a lot of computer speakers. I think they make something similar without the sub.

Small enough to fit in a window sill, and for DJ’ing.
