    yes. although you won't get as wide a seperation as placing two speakers further apart.

    I have one and it's loud and has great bass output. It's also durable and easy to carry around with it's handles. You might want to just find a cheap small duffel bag to throw it in if you are going to transport it around a lot.

    I'm using this one. It's my girlfriends speaker. She bought it a long time ago. She probably paid around $400.
