Default Pioneer media player / bang for buck

    Hi, Dj friends!

I am currently saving money to buy a setup of CDJs or XDJs. I have currently used a numark mixtrack pro controller and want to be confident in CDJs because my aim is to play dubstep from a usb stick in vienna, in clubs where they have CDJ 2000 Nexus.

As far as I know the options are:
Pioneer CDJ 850 (k), about 500€: relatively cheap, no waveform display
Pioneer CDJ 900 nexus, about 900€: not so cheap, many features of the 2000 nexus
Pioneer XDJ 1000, about 1000€: not so cheap, touchscreen, waveform display, many features,
Pioneer XDJ 700, 700€ new, not much cheaper when used: cheaper, smaller jogwheels, touchscreen, most features of XDJ 1000.

How similar are gemini MDJ 900 (very cheap), to the pioneer players?

Which Player would you guys think is the best for your buck? I only intend to buy used stuff. I could buy any of them, the thing is only I have to save up longer. I dont need to use CDs, and I like touch sensitive jog wheels, I like more features. Thanks for answers in advance!

    Pioneer XDJ-RX ?

You wont need to worry about a mixer and will be the same USB drive and roughly the same function/layout as any CDJ you'll use in a club.

A pair of factory refurb XDJ's were on ebay for $1299 (buy it now) a week or so ago from a main music outlet - there is bargains to be had on occasions.

personally, i would recommend the xdj700s. with the xdj rx as the runner up, i feel that theres no substitution for modular gear. yes the rx will do what you want but i really feel its best to get the 700s especially if you are coming from a controller. the rx is still a controller at heart and thats what you want to step away from.
