Scary that there are millions of twenty somethings and below that literally have probably never ever (knowingly) heard lossless due to MP3/AAC becoming the "normal" method of music sale.

Factor in the High end hearing loss due to aging (where most audible artifacts occur) and you have almost an entire population who have never experienced or would not notice high quality audio if it hit them with a Funktion One.

Kids today wouldn’t know bass if it ran up to them and kicked ‘em in the chest!

    500 works.

They're not as tight (read: fiddly) as the stock ones, but they don't fall off either.

Are there any longer cables for these bad boys? I could do with another metre on the braided cable.

I use 1/4" extension on mine. I don't remember the brand...something not garbage. It works fine.

    I'd try them.

After I got the comply tips and switched back to the stock cable, these things sound as good as Etymotics that I spent a good bit more on years ago.

I'm still not the biggest fan of the heavy body outside my ear canal as opposed to the smaller style, but...they sound great. More drivers must be more better, right?

I've switched all mine back to the stock cables too. Definitely a better sound using the grey cable. It just knots up so bloody easily, though...
