    Okay, the problem is still there.

    I have tried:

    - playing WAV files
    - updating firmware
    - USB is new, FAT 32 and 3.0

    Any other things to try before spending money on a 2.0 USB (the only thing mentioned that I haven't tried)?

    Is it a cheap USB stick?

    Not really. Sandisk ultra 3.0 32GB for about 20€

    Yeha, that should be OK. Maybe the Genimi doesn't like USB3?

    That unit has an SD port. Try that instead. I find SD much more reliable and faster to read/write.

    Just bought a SDHC UHS-I card, but the problem remains 😡

    Have tried to play both WAV and MP3 in different bit rates and frequencies.

    Probably should have bought a fucking Pioneer...

    Hopefully you are still within your return period. Return em and get a DDJ1000 or something similar.
