Yeah, I know. It's sickening. I had no idea though. I wasn't really into rotaries...frankly, I'm still not.
But, it would have been cool to have it....even cooler to sell it at market value today, lol!

Yep it sure is, which is the same as a cdj D/A to an analogue mixer. It's more the convenience of having two inbuilt, seamless change overs, less cables and set up etc.

Personally I'm loving the silver look and the mixer as a whole. Just curious as to what the 'audio sync out' is at the back, are A&H bringing out some kind of external effects unit?

It's for recording, and for potential future products.

My guess is you are correct. We've been begging A&H for years to make one.
I think they are finally going to deliver.

Yeah, it might have the dual function of being able to use it for a record out.
But remember, there are already traditional record out ports on the back.
I mean, who knows how long it may take to come, but guess is that it is
    DEFINITELY coming!

So plug in your iPhone easily to record a mix? Unless you have a new one and then you’ll need a dongle

    Phone inputs are mono.

It's just a microphone input. You'd need a DAC with stereo input.
