    Default MF3D colors are upside down ?

    I've got a Midi Fighter 3D, and when I try to change some colors in the MF Utility, they appear upside down.
    For instance if I change the top-right color (the button closest to the bank 4 button) and send to my MF3D, it appears bottom-left...

    NO, the MF3D itself is not upside down :-)

    How can I change this ?

    FYI: I am trying to change the colors in BANK 2, and trigger clips in Ableton here.

    Is your MF3D placed with bank buttons up?

    That is not supposed to be a case. Did you already tried resetting your MF3D to factory settings?

    Tools--> Midifighter --> Factory Reset

    Yes I've done that a few times already.

    It seems that the problem only occurs with Ableton running, AND in Bank 2. When Ableton is not running, the colors appear on the correct place.. In Bank 1 I have no problems. Haven't tested with 3 & 4.

    Sorry to hear that you still experiencing that issue even after the Factory Resetting the unit. Could you please attach your Ableton mapping file and Midifighter settings file?

    I forwarded your report to our Team as I'm not Ableton specialist - thank you for your report on this!

    Hey aftermathematic

    Sorry to hear you are having issues with your 3D! It's possible there might be some crosstalk with other controllers or plugins transposing the notes to a different spot, which could explain why it only happens with Ableton open.

    Please answer these questions and send them via email to support@djtechtools.com including the ALS file of your project (we don't need the whole folder) and the MFS file from the Midi Fighter Utility (File>Export Settings), that way we can test it on our end.

    - What OS are you running?
    - Is your 3D connected to a a USB hub or directly to your computer?
    - What firmware and MF Utility version are you using?
    - What other MIDI controllers are you using?

    By the way, you don't need to manually map the clip launching controls, we have this script which does that for you in Bank 2 already so it should be a great fit in your setup. If you'd like to customize the LED colors on it you can open the MF3D_Launcher.py file and find that bit on line 72. All you need to do is change the numbers for the color you want. It will look something like this

    clip_slot = scene.clip_slot(track_index)
    clip_slot.set_triggered_to_play_value(37)
    clip_slot.set_triggered_to_record_value(13)
    clip_slot.set_record_button_value(19)
    clip_slot.set_stopped_value(127)
    clip_slot.set_started_value(61)
    clip_slot.set_recording_value(13)
