What we’re you using with your Mac before it died?
You must have had some interface or controller?

I had a Traktor S4 (which I sold) with Traktor Pro.
This new setup I’ve concocted seems it will be ok, only the AMX(the main part) has had trouble with IOS in the last apparently
AMX should work fine, LPD8 should be mapped, but you can control fx onscreen, afais.
For a bit more there's the Xone 23c, a real hardware mixer. Not perfect, but it's not a controller as the AMX.
Thanks
Is there any advantage the A&H has over the AMX? I think the AMX can be used as an analog mixer aswell...?
AMX is not analog mixer, it's mixing surface = controller. See it as the S4 without the jogs and cue buttons. You can't use it without a computer.

But in all honesty the experience I’ve had for scratching with A&H products has been quite bad.
I get your point but for what I’m using it for I can’t really see the point. I’m only using it for use with my iPad. If solely for vinyl I’ll use my other mixer.
Perhaps I’m overlooking something but I reckon it should be ok..
Having looked at it now I can see the outputs are superior and tbh it does look a lot better but I’m just worried about it working with my iPad...I’m not sure the iPad can take it
