Default Is there a way to mix 1210’s on iOS?

    Hey guys

So recently my MacBook went kaput. I have left an iPad Air a pair of 1210’s mk2 an A&H xone 32 mixer and some speakers.

I’m aware of Traktor and Serato and other iOS and desktops software but what I want to know is there any way to dj through my iPad on my 1210’s? I know I can buy a box and do it through my Mac but does anyone know of any iOS ways to do this?

    Thanks guys

You'll need an audio interface and some supported timecode.

    Mmm cool, thanks

Is there a cheap but effective way to do this? On quite a budget. If not, what’s the recommendation for this?

I think the short answer is "no". You will need an audio interface that not only has preamps for the turntables, but works with iOS...

    Thanks

The one I’m looking at is an Akai AMX, seems to fit everything. Still, any advice or suggestions would be great

If you have a 4in 4out soundcard that works with ios (class compliant) just add 2 cheap phono preamps like Behringer pp400. That's cheapest.

    Thanks again

So this is why I’ve come up with and I really need an honest opinion.

Akai AMX with usb powered hub
AKAI Wireless LPD8 (for controlling effects)
    1210’s
    IPAD Air 1
