Default WTF!?! god damn you WMG

This video contains an audio track that has not been authorised by WMG. The audio has been disabled. More about copyright

Not sure what track it would be,
    Detboi - Y'all Want Mo
The Funk Out - Rebel Ting

The Funk Out - Sound Boy Killa
Aquilaganja vs No Such Luck! - Don't!!
Drumattic Twins - Crazy Love (Peo De Pitte mix)
Le Rock & Rox - Bitch (GMR Clan mix)
Stanton Warriors - Pop Ya Cork
The Prodigy - Take Me To The Hospital (Adam F & Horx remix)
    Detboi - Hump n Shake

My guess is on the bold ones, they have blatant samples, but not sure if they're anything to do with WMG

The hollywood fat cats really have the US by the balls. This "stop the music and go home" attitude is just embarrassing as a citizen.

That is fucked up Brad. Who checks this stuff out?
Who is it that is wasting Tax payers money that sits around trawling over this stuff?

I'm not sure if they do the same thing for purely audio. but i know that for sports, F1, premier league football etc and music videos. The copyright owner uploads the video to youtube, to a special site obviously not the public one. Then computers compare the data to newly upload files and throw up the matches. I guess they could upload their entire catalogue, then youtube could scan all the videos. but that seems impossible?!

    that's what i was thinking?

and as it's all embedded and there is probally only 30sec-1min of each tack (solo) in that vid, i don't see how it breaks copyright? not like it's of any use to anyone in 'piracy' context.
surely it just works out as free advertising.

unless there's a list uploaded, which is ref'd against titles/tags/info section? then someone searches the vids out and checks them over?
and if one of the tracks is on that list, it's flagged and f*cked over?
from now on might stop putting tracklist in the info section, see if that changes anthing

Yeah it definitely breaks copyright, of that there is no doubt. You physically cannot make a DJ mix and host it without breaking the law. Whether that is good/bad right/wrong is another discussion. It is illegal.
Thats why the Gigs & Mixes Forum was closed on the NI forum.

Does it do any harm..? DOES IT FUCK.
We all know DJ mixes do more good than bad. The Artists know this, even the fucking record companies know. There is just a level of bureaucracy within the music and media industry that earns revenue from doing this sort of shit so it goes on.

true, pain in the arse, wonder how many of the people that watched it bought some of the tracks and generated more money for the music industry?

another reason why I dont want to post my mixes on youtube. WMG must have a program like shazam that listening to tracks on new youtube videos and bust any users that upload there content.

thats why I was pissed when myspace bought out imeem. cuz you could upload your tracks/mixes/song (that belonged to other bands) and you didnt have to worry about WMG chasing me down for youtube hits going on my profile instead of theres.
