Default F1 + Remix Decks + Akai MPD

So I love my F1. And I LOVE Remix Decks. But I HATE the pads on the F1.

So I’ve been thinking about getting a pad controller to compliment the F1.

But - would I be able to use the MPD in midi mode, specifically to fire Remix slots, and still use the F1 in native mode for all other functions (browse, navigate, volume, filter, etc...), AND, could I add a midi-out to the MPD mapping to make the F1 pad light up when the corresponding pad on the MPD gets hit?

Or will the F1 not receive midi from Traktor when it’s in Native mode???

I can pick up an MPD for peanuts, but I don’t really fancy dumping the F1 and having to map the MPD fully to replicate F1 functionality. I know and like the F1 - but the clicky pads are just rubbish.

The native mapping for F1 will not receive MIDI from MPD because they are two different protocols. But you will get desired LED's functionality on F1 with native map same as if you were launching samples with a mouse clicks.
