Default problem with DDJ SX2 Mapping for Traktor

hi all I am running TSP 2.6.8 and want to use DDJ SX2 with it.

i have got the mapping file from Traktor Bible and imported the TSI file by going into controller manager - click add - click import other and locating the TSI file

i have also installed the latest DDJ SX2 driver

in controller manager I have selected the device and ensured the input and outputs are both DDJ SX2

but TSP does not seem to think the device is connected (see attached pics)

    not connected.JPGno audio.JPG

however if i load a track into the deck via the laptop - the SX2 sees the deck - the hot cues light up and if I play the track on the laptop the jog wheels indicator spins but i cant stop or start via the controller or do anything with it

    any ideas please

    Default

so i just changed the device to the internal soundcard and the SX2 works in the sense that the job wheel spins

i can start/stop the track and use the hot cues

however I dont get any OUTPUT through the attached speakers to the controller

if i switch the device back to SX2 i get the same as above.

I looked at the input settings and strangely this is what Im seeing

help please - hopefully im getting close

    Aaaarghhhhhhh

I have resolved this and can't believe the resolution.

You have to turn the DDJ Sx2 on 1st wait for it to finish turning on and then turn on TSP and it recognizes it and it works.

I only stumbled upon this when I found the Pioneer instructions which I was skimming through and right at the end it says CAUTION... And mentions the sequence to turn them on.
