I'm going to try it Dual Layer in to my Kontrol Z2 mixer. If I decide it's amazing & the dual layer thing is intuitive enough, i'll then decide wether a need a second player or not.

I'm not really a big fx user though, so suspect the Z2 will be fine. Plus using the Z2 gives me the option to use it for controlling traktor with midi (see my post further up the chain).
    Cheers

I'm really looking forward to getting mine plugged in and some practise with that. Dropping vocals or scratching over a mix should be a giggle. Unfortunately I landed three 12 hour shifts in a row the day after I got them

Me neither, I have a couple of go-to FX on my x1700 mixer but I don't even bother with Traktor's.

Due to work and other stuff I haven't actually had a play on my Prime's since they arrived. Had a good bash on them yesterday though and good grief they are so much fun. I'm used to Laptop+DVS, but the learning curve isn't steep and the dual layer function is actually quite easy to get into. I got them for a ridiculous price when you look at how much the Pioneer system costs, so Black Friday has done me well this year.

Yeah...I'm gonna do that at some point...been on computers for a very long time, done TTs and Pioneer before, never owned Denon. It's time just for something different/simpler. I'm looking forward to seeing if I can just put music on a USB drive and let the players analyze things.

Apparently, I get a Christmas bonus at work. If it's enough, it'll be soon.
