I'll try reimporting too
I'll try reimporting too
2 what's the best way to do this?
As I'm.unclear what is being mapped?
All I can think to do is try and create a new midi map for each of the pads I want to delete so I can see whta each pad is assigned to and then go into the actual mapping look for all instances of that command and delete it?
Easiest way is to sort entire mapping by comment (if comments are added)
If there are no comments than sort by "Mapped To" and delete all midi notes for the Pad FX mode.
I didn't know you can sort by comments. Maybe I have to scroll across as I dont see them in the default headers?
Resize the Preferences window, comments are on the far-right side.
OMG what an idiot I never knew that
i have to laugh that i cant believe I never thought to resize the window to see what else was in it.
I can now see the comments too
some of the mappings talk about "Favourite" effects in the comments and thus far I have been checking each entry and looking at the comment what an idiot.
to confirm therefore I can do the following
Export the TSI of the mapping that I like the effects for & just choose effects settings for this (I like the 4 echo effects)
Before importing them to a new mapping I need to delete the effects entries and to do this by deleting all entries to do with FX Pads and FX settings?
also is it safe to assume that if in the comments it states FX PAD 2 this the 2nd set of FX Pads on the controller which is the "Roll" section which I wanted to delete anyway as I dont use them at all?
You got it man!
Re imported the mapping a couple of times and seems to be working better. Fingers crossed it stays like that as so far this one seems overall the best one I've come across.
