Default Traktor Z1 + X1 and Korg Volca Beats

    Hello!

Im abit new to all this.

Right now i have a Z1 and a X1, im interested in buying some kind of drum machine. And the Korg volca beats looks like a nice cheap one.

Is there a way to sync these 3 devices, so the volca beats plays the same tempo as traktor? From what i understand i have no MIDI out from my controllers. Is this correct?

If so, what would be the cheapest way to connect everything.

Im happy for any pointers or help, thanks alot!

    /Jakob

You would need to run a USB MIDI converter for the Beats to sync, and with the Z1, you don't have any way of inputting the audio. You'd be better off buying a F1 and leveraging Traktor's remix decks and step sequencer for drums.

I would recommend a Roland UME or M-Audio Midisport midi interface. Do not get the cheap ten dollar amazon ones. They will fail.

You can program drums in any (free) DAW, and play them in a remix deck...
