    Default Seeking advice

    Hi guys,
I saved enough money to start a new hobby and I want to produce my own electronic music. What should I buy to get started (Software and Hardware)?:
    1- Ableton Live+Push
    2- Pioneer XDJ-RX2 (or XDJ-RR with DDJ-XP1) + Recordbox
3- Logic Pro X with another hardware

Forgive my ignorance and thank you in advance!

Note : http://forum.djtechtools.com/showthread.php?t=71847 should be updated...

    Option 2 isn't for production.

I'd just grab Ableton on its own to get started. No real need for hardware.

I bought Ableton 10 and push 2 last year. It’s super awesome! Will take sometime getting used to. There are a ton of videos online you can watch to get you started. I owned the old logic and didn’t really like it but that’s just me.

All you need to get started with music production is M32:

Any experiences with TORAIZ SP-16 from Pioneer?

Does the M32 comes with a software that enables you to create on its own or just a collection of sounds? -> yes "Includes Ableton Live 10 Lite + more"

Yes it comes with everything you see Mad Zach uses in this video plus much much more.

The Toraiz is a hardware drum machine and sequencer. It's also very expensive and limited if you're wanting to produce complete music.

Are you better at working with a computer or working in a more tactile environment?

If you start out with hardware, get an Elektron Digitakt or MPC Live.

If you are starting out with software, but need hands on control get a Push with Ableton.

If you are starting out with software, but are comfortable doing more work in the box and want to expand out later, go with Cubase.

What type(s) of electronic music are you interested in making?

Have you tied out MPC Live? I wound the workflow is terrible... And the procedure to register - they almost requested my blood type

    Pretty much Techno.
Or how would you qualify the music of Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, Sam Paganini and co. more accurately?

If I go with Ableton, is Live Suite worth the money for my level (0 but ambitious)?
