    Looks like he has a remix deck sample set to one-shot and is just drumming it?

    for me it looks like he takes a loop from the running track to deck d and fades it in with a delay?

    If so, he's just using the sampler and recording it to a free cell in the remix deck. It definitely looks like he's drumming the sample as he fades it though, which is probably why it sounds delayed.

    He uses it very similar to this, minus the faders... He only use rotary 1 and 4 to control the loop size:

    There is an issue with LED when you duplicate track decks, that's why he presses buttons a lot (to refresh the LED state of loop size output)

    and bottom pads row used used to move loops.
