    Default vci-100 arcade worth it?

Hey whats up DJTT. im looking to get into contollerism and i gotta say MR ean Golden has really inspired me. I love his vci-100 arcade but im wondering if its worth the extra 300 bucks...I know its a special edition and all...but i can get a vci-100se and then just get a matching midi fighter too and maybe even do more then the arcade. What do u guys think?

    I'd say get a VCI-SE and a midifighter.
The arcade is cool and all but i don't think it's worth the extra 300 bucks.

I second that. It's a better idea cause you get more buttons to go nuts with !

Depends on your style. The midi fighter gives you more buttons but the arcade gives you one piece of equipment.

I did the mod myself, almost if you're gonna do that, do the whole mod yourself.

As in get a 2nd hand silver VCI for not much and do it... realistically the most cost effective thing to do.

After that i would get a regular SE and a midifighter yeah.

Though for me, I like just having the one interface.

id agree aswell, i bought a SE edition without the arcade mod and always planned to do it myself, but actually have never wanted it on the VCI, i make controllers whenever i need one to do a diffrernt job so ended up creating a midifighter-esque one with arcade buttons,

but as people have mentioned it depends, how much kit you want to carry around, and what style wise your planing to do with it!

Very true, if I was to do it again I would get the SE and use the extra $300 on two midifighters. I love my arcade VCI, and I don't regret getting it by any means, so it's worth it if you got $300 to throw around.
