Curious: What are the benefi/uses of having an X1 on top of a VCI 100 SE?

Hello all, this is I believe my first post in this subforum so bear with me lol

I have had the VCI 100 SE for a few months now and it has treated me great.

But I was wondering what uses would an X1 have i used along side it?

Any common uses? Anyone done this before?

more buttons x1 is a great bit of kit in NI mode or midi mode you can have 3 pages of custom midi mapping,loads of people use vci/s4/other controller with the x1 its just a great all round add on controller and gives you a lot more options

More buttons and knobs. You wouldn't use the default maping, but remap it to whatever you want. Super knobs/buttons galore.
