Typhoon Questions

Hi, I'm new here.. anyways
I have the vestax typhoon and I am pleased with it, but feel somewhat limited to things such as only having 1 cue, and having to stop the track to set a new cue point(a fix would be to have a in and out cue). and the effects are hard to control because half of the settings I have to do through the computer. I also can't figure out how manually beatmatch on it. (sync button is getting old... feels too nooby and easy) which is pretty Important. So I kind of want to upgrade and get the Traktor Kontrol S4, when I get the money. and money is the problem. as I am only 15.
I've also looked into the midifighter which from what I've seen could fix some of my limitations on the typhoon.. I think..
So should I save up and get the S4 or should I get the Midi-fighter, and buy the S4 when I have more experience as a DJ (only been Djing about 3 months)

He says he has modded controllers on the rack behind him, one of them is the typhoon. I searched for what it was and couldn't find it. so what did he mod on it..?
