    Default Don't know where to start

    I need help with getting started. I recently picked up some simple equipment and need help creating music and just how to get started.

    I have Ableton live 8, Fruity Loops Studio 9, and Traktor LE.
    My only actual equipment is an Numark mixtrack and a Akai LDP8.

    youtube can be some of the best stuff when it comes to music production. search what you'd like to learn on there and i'm sure you can get something going.

    I'd say no fruity loops
    Ableton is better, as far as I know

    Watch video's sonic academy, dubspot, producer tutorials
    all on youtube with some great video's
    there are many company's who sell tutorials online.

    take a good look around
    and then, practice practice practice
