mpd26 mapping with traktor

im mapping the functions to different pads on my mpd26 but pad 1 seems to be automatically set to play. when i try to map it to something else it will but will still act as the play pad as well. there are a few other pads that do the same but for other functions. how do i "unlearn" traktor from recognising pad 1 as play?

Check the in the Controller Manager that the IN/OUT ports are assigned to the MPD and not "All Ports"
