    Default Question regarding lights

I have been messing around with a mapping for the Reloop Contours for a couple weeks, and have it down to the details and was trying to figure out how to have a single light button do 2 functions.

It appears that when a condition is considered true that it activates the light as normal, when another condition is considered true, it activates (or deactivates) as desired, but when that second condition becomes false there is no way to make it check again for the first condition.

I probably can't explain it well, but the basic is that I wanted a light to show if a hotcue exists (by being lit) but when playing it should be unlit. Which works as far as playing the track once. But as soon as the track is stopped it seems that there is no way to check whether the hotcue exists or not again.

I could use modifiers, but I am out of them (as there are far too few of them).

If anyone has any ideas about this, let me know.

    Add Out > Cue / Loops > Hotcue # State >> Assign: Deck X

    Modifier > Play/Pause > Deck X > 0
    Midi Range > 127-127
    Modifier > Play/Pause > Deck X > 1
    Midi Range > 0-0

split your mapping into pages by adding different sections as separate 'generic midi' devices.

each page can have 8 mods, using this method i have 12 across vci and 10 on dicers. just try not to cross things over each page, or you'll have to map mods twice (once on each page). obviously a 'shift' button would be an exception here...

Hey thanks for the replies. That's totally great.

Had not thought of having multiple mappings, and the lights trick with the midi range was exactly what I was hoping for.
