    Default XONE4D SoundQuality

Hi, i think im going to get a xone4d for all in one system, i had the s4 and didnt like it much, now i have an x1 an audio 2, was going to get some decent audio card and 4 channel mixer, but im thinking about xone4d, i want to ask to people who had or have it, and had some native instruments sound cards, how does it sound compared to them? Thankyou.

I have a 4D (although no NI card to reference to). The sound quality for DJing purposes should not be a problem at all, it is a highly capable audio interface. Most of the time I am using 8 analog out, 2 in, along with midi of course over usb; and my latency set to 256 (at 44.1KHz), and I could probably go down to 192, with 4 decks, keylock, loops, and all effects available to utilize on (stress test) and just dick around without drop outs.

It is possible to send a strong enough signal so it would leave the mixer portion to spike on the red even if you to try attenuate it with the gain knob (the mixer's headroom is huge though, so it's not dangerous in short term, but rather I point this out to indicate the punch the sound card is able to deliver).

I'm selling my Xone 4D if you're interested! I love it but I'm moving and can't take it with me.

Give me a shout if you're interested!

Dude you really don't have to worry about audio quality with products made by allen and heath.

As a sound card I think they perform almost equal with no edge for some.
But as a mixer and controller the xone is outstanding and the sound quality and headroom in analog mode is top notch
