What's the best way to calibrate ur records on scratch..???
I'm confused...
All I do is load up Traktor Scratch, drop the needle on the record and I'm good to go.
yeah damn i wish it was that easy for me..
yo when the needle is making a sound when touching the record what does that mean.. broken?? fuck hope not cuz there like 60 bucks each... or are they just dirty.. and need a cleaning.. new to needles.. HELP??
What do you mean exactly.
Its fairly normal to be able to hear a sound when the needle is touching the vinyl. With DVS vinyls its just a tone so thats what you would hear, with a proper record you would be able to faintly hear the song coming from the needle.
Is that what you mean?
Is tractor scratch not working for you at all? It should be just plug the vinyl into your soundcard, then drop needle on record and your good to go..
17" MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz C2D | MacOS 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard)
Traktor 1.2.4 | VCI-100SE v3.4
Korg Zero8 | NI Audio8 DJ | Akai APC40 | KRK V8 Mk2 | Sony MDR-7506
Novation Remote SL25MkII | Kore2 | Komplete6 | Virus TI
Ableton Live8 (Suite) | Logic9 | Reason4 | Audio Hijack Pro
I find the best way is to read the manual.
And if I continually experience technical issues, I call and get a help ticket from the company.
That's just me.
