S2 + live input not working

Hey guys looking for some help I have an s2 and I am having trouble with my microphone,
I get sound through the speakers but I can use effects or use the loop recorder
Please help?

Btw I am having trouble with latency I am using windows vista would my latency problems go away if I Dow grade to xp

It's like this: the music is on your PC, it gets played by the software, FX added etc, then gets sent to the soundcard. The mic on the S2 gets sent straight to the S2's sound card, NOT through the software, so no FX or recording is possible in the traktor SW. It's a feature of the S2. Live input is possible on the S4 though.
