How to KICK my beats

I need some help
I am looking for some kind of foot pedal to trigger the loop recorder in Traktor, but I have no idea on what I have to respect.

I've seen it before in Ian's videos

Can you tell me what did I buy for this purpose.

Boss DS-5U. Don't get the L model, otherwise you'll have to step on it twice.

1) place beats headphones on floor...
2) move foot in swinging motion until you continue to kick your beats (using the inside of your foot may cause better results)
3) repeat if necessary
