Traktor iPad version Or any other iPod apps
I'm slightly confused on how this app works
Does this just take songs from your Apple playlist that you've downloaded and enable you to mix them through this app. Is it a case of just picking two songs and pressing go on the song you want to mix into the song playing and the software matches them up to enable the mix to be carried out whilst performing some loops n other effects?
Or am I totally misunderstanding what is capable of this app.
Also can I connect this up to the same Soundsystem That my decks and mixer setup to?
Or does this only play over the iPhone speakers or iPad speakers?
I'm really not up to date with technology lol but Would like to incorporate my iPad into my basic setup which is turntables and an average Joe Mixer?
Any help or suggestions would be amazing

Tech Wizard
Your itunes library, but itraktor can sync cue points with traktor pro 2 via dropbox
You can plug it to your external dj mixer via a rca to headphone jack.
There is a master tempo everything syncs too.
but the app is so good. I think you can dj "fine" with just it.
iTraktor > DJay but DJay is very fun.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply. So the RCA to headphone jack would fit into the back of the mixer into one of the 2 channels (I've only got a 2 channel one so it will mean unplugging one of the decks I'm guessing ) then just leaving cross fader open for that side and not actually using the mixer to do the mixing?!! Hope you understand what I mean lol
I'm struggling to come to terms with modern tech lol
Also if I got a 2 way splitter I would be able to connect one to the back of the mixer using the RCA cable and then my headphones to the other for cuing the tracks?
I wouldn't need to buy traktor audio 6 or 10 would I to get full use out of it?
Does anyone have an idiots guide to setting this up please as I'm really struggling to find info on it.
