    Default Korg nanoPAD Problems

Hi, I recently bought a korg nanoPAD, and it doesn't seem to work. Whenever I plug it in, and traktor is playing, it slows down the tempo, and makes it skip beats. I installed all the latest drivers, and it can play cue points, but it sounds terrible, and it is impossible to play at all. If anyone could help, that would be fantastic.

in traktor just uncheck the midiout for your nanopad. as the nanopad doesnt have any leds to indicate what is pressed in traktor you dont really need a midi out.

Its more than just a midi-out issue. Make sure that your latency is suitable since Im assuming you now have 2 midi devices? If thats the case also make sure that the global channel on the nanopad is different (global channel can be changed in the korg editor). Let me know how that goes. I love my nanopad.

I am a total noob with traktor. How could I change latency and stuff?

Edit: I found latency, and I think I changed midi out, but it still doesn't work.

How high/low is your latency, what sound card are you using and what are the specs of your computer? (also, what is your creditcard number and what are the three numbers on the back of your card?) (sorry)

My latency is 10 ms, I dont have a sound card, as I only use usb devices at the moment, and all of my other devices are screwed up. I have 3gbs of ram, and 2.4 ghz dual core processor, with a radeon hd 4670 graphics card. Traktor runs fine when it isnt plugged in.

okay it's not an issue with lack of computer speed or something..Good
Latency isn't extremely low or high. You might want to see if changing the latency to something around 20-30 ms changes/fixes your problem.

Have you used the KorgEditor to make sure the midi channels arent conflicting each other?

I am currently only using the nanoPAD, so I dont think that it is the midi channels
