    Default Pioneer XDJ-RX

    Just one word: WOW
This is the gamechanger I was waiting for. Stand alone SX kinda machine with a nice 7 inch display, proper colour fx, normal NXS like FX and a proper build quality.

    Here is the introduction video:

Price is said to be around €1.500,- which would be less than I'd be willing to pay Just gonna wait a few months to see how stable it is as I have had some really bad experiences wth the XDJ's previously.

I look forward to the 4 channel version. The price tag seems a little steep for an all in one but we will see once it comes out.

Wonder if the parts will be released modularly? Wouldnt mind a couple of the jogwheels for control of Traktor, especially if they had another row of pads.

We're gonna need a 4-ch version, as a mixer, with built in soundcard for us DVS users...

Production: Ableton Live 8 and a mouse, Sennheiser HD400, Sony VAIO

But that would go past the point of it being a mobile DJ solution. I'd rather have the DDJ-SZ with this screen, but that would beat the purpose of the machine. Maybe the MK2 will have dual deck, but personally I don't think it's a big miss. The only thing I can really say I'm missing is the needle-strip search. I'm also not a fan of the knob placement between the EQ's. I have long thing fingers, but what for people with short chubby fingers? Beats me why they didn't place it on the normal spot.

    I don't want a mobile DJ solution.

Then you shouldn't buy this but go for the DJM-900SRT, SZ or SXMK2 which has DVS support (or something else with DVS support)

I wouldn't be surprised if pioneer brings out it's own DVS system soon.

I have a DJM-850 (which has DVS support).

The whole point of the XDJ is that you don't need a laptop.
