Need a new way to DJ ASAP! - coming from VCI-400

I've been DJing professionally with the VCI-400 since it came out, before that the VCI-100. I play 6 nights a week, open format, and though most clubs I work at have the usually CDJ-2000 & Pioneer mixer setup, that isnt always the case even. My 2 VCI-400's, thought still workable, both have several functionality issues including randomly turning off during my sets in packed clubs, which is where I draw the line. Since Vestax is gone, I think it's time to start looking elsewhere at more sustainable solutions to using Traktor is various club situations. I have not seen an easy solution from the products I've seen on the market so far but maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I've considered using Traktor with CDJs and maybe a smaller external controller for extra control but even that seems complicated to setup when you've got 3+ DJs switching off on gear in a big club and you've got to worry about CDJ menu settings, drivers, etc. Almost every other DJ in the circuit I've worked with uses Serato & CDJs/tables, or in the house scene, just USB sticks, so I'm always the weird guy with his own gear, which sucks especially when it flat out shuts down out of nowhere.

Here are the features coming from VCI-400 that I'd like to retain going forward:

- Access to all 8 cue points on both decks
- Control of effects on both decks
- Using Delay Freeze effect or similar
- Nothing bigger than the VCI-400 (the S8 looks awesome, but I can barely fit the VCI-400 in most places I play, the S8 is just too big)

Bonus:
- Using the jog wheels for spin back transitions mainly in hip hop would be nice, but since the jog wheels on BOTH of my vci-400s died long ago, I've gotten used to living with out this sadly
- Sample triggering from my controller would be nice as right now I have samples triggered from my 1-8 keys but many times, I unknowingly have my cursor placed in the search box of the Traktor browser, so I goto hit a keyboard trigger and it doesnt fire off and instead types a character in the search field

Go modular on Traktor stuff. The flexibility beats every all-in-one-solution & CDJs alone.
Start with an X1 + CDJs in HID mode. Always carry a rekordbox analyzed USB stick.
You can add an F1 or Z1 if there is no proper mixer available.
