    Default S4 mk1 or ddj sx1

Hi, my friend recently came into a Traktor Kontrol s4 mk1 and I have a Pioneer ddjsx. I love my Pioneer but I really enjoy the compact size of the s4. I didn't spend a lot on my ddjsx (bought it used) and his is also used. Just would like to get a few opinions from you guys. I also don't use Serato at all, straight Traktor. So what do gouys think? Would this be fair? He is obviously getting the better end of the bargain here but I've wanting a s4 for awhile. I also heard they crash a shitload. True? thanks

Nobody has any advise? Help me out? Basically do the S4 mk1's crash a lot or are they pretty reliable?

Yeah I should just keep my SX, I was just looking for something a bit more compact. Both my Numark 4trak and DDJsx are pretty bulky. The reason why is because I wanted to use the 4 channel mixer and map it to Ableton and use a launchpad so I could have a Ableton jam at the end of my sets when gig.

honestly, get an apc 40 or similar controller to use with ableton. Something you can just throw in your laptop bag. It will be way easier bruv.

Yeah the MK2s look nice, Ive been wanting one too. I just like the option of using Traktor or Ableton with minimum pieces of gear.
