Default Traktor s8 or Ddj-sx2 ---- Which one fits my needs?

    So lets get to it

This would be my second all in one dj controller i previously owned a hercules rmx2
and now looking for a nice upgrade

I will mainly play in big bar's and medium sized clubs

The gendre of the music that is requested depends on the nights...

Normaly "Commercial music (Vevo Style)" and some times techno ,minimal, deep house, and so on

    Here are my questions:

1)What is bigger? ddj sx2 or the s8?

2)Is the s8 a good controller for clubs?

3)Can i play "commercial" music on the s8 with out wasting too much time on the sync and is it a "good feel" to mix this type of music on this type of controller

4)What offers more options the s8 or the ddj sx2?

5)What do you think i should go with? normaly the my music i play is | 35% commercial music - 65% House techno minaml |

    Thanks

Hard to say how somebody will enjoy the workflow of a certain mixer. I own the S8 and absolutuley love it. I play tech house/minimal/house mainly and the way it handles the loops/cue points/fx/filters suits me down to the ground.

I have had the S8 for a month or so, so I am still learning but I haven't come across any issues with it yet. It is sersioulsy large however and both travelling with it and setting it up in cramped DJ booths may well present issues.

Both units are about the same size, within a few centimeters, and similar in weight too. I don't think either is better than the other in terms of setting up in a club. What software did you run with the Hercules?

Go with the S8. The sx is nice but not having to have your laptop sitting in front of you is even nicer.

IMO, there is no such controller for a certain type of music.

S8 is ultimate DJ tool, go for it!

I've got a question for you. What do you prefer, Traktor or Serato?
