I hope this is the right place to post. I am looking for opinions on the most cost effective and sensible upgrade path.

I bought my first turntables about 10 years ago, but I haven't used them much in the last 5 years. In fact I haven't done any mixing at all in about 5 years. Anyway, about 4 months ago I bought a S2 controller (which I really like), but increasingly I am finding myself wanting to use the vinyl I already own and actually I miss using the turntables. So I think that changing to the Traktor Scratch system is the way to go.

So, the question really is -
1: do I buy an S4, connect my turntables then upgrade the software to Scratch?
2: do I buy a Z2?

It looks as though pricewise the options are very similar - except that I would have to buy the Scratch with the S4. I like the remix decks so I wonder if the Z1 would be better because then I can add on the F1 and I like the idea of modular gear.

What are peoples thoughts?
