    Default Pioneer PLX-1000 Counterweight Specs

Sorry for the post but I lost the counterweight to my Pioneer PLX-1000. Would anyone happen to know the specs for me to replace it? I have searched around most of the day and found little to no information on it.

I would rather not spend $75 on a pioneer counterweight for the turntable but I will if I must. Would a Technics 1200 or other Super OEM counterweights fit the tonearm? Or are they specifically Pioneer (would not surprise me).

Yes, I also lost the weight from my PLX-1000 and used a friends 1200 counterweight with no problems. Fits perfectly..

Just check if the scale is calibrated the same by measuring the pressure with a digital balance.

So, let me give you the picture:

I bought 2 new PLX-1000 for my company to rent out. First time I'm renting them one of my employees unboxes them, and throws the foam that contains the counterweight and 45 adapter and headshell in the freaking garbage >.<

Me too but it was long gone.. The turntables were set on a weekend that they weren't really used... so it took a week to find out about it

This is what happens when the boss leaves for a week vacation and puts the new guy in charge

Well, lesson learned I guess, somebody is getting a discounted salary this month
