TRAKTOR, WIN 7 (64bit) and NO SOUND.. help

hey everyone!

jsut updated my computer with a fresh windows 7 64bit... using a emu 1616m sound card along with it.. the asio drivers are working fine and so is the windows sounds and what not... UNTIL i turn on traktor... then all windows souinds and mp3's (played in itunes or media player) dont work no more... only asio! i tried with the vista drivers then the win 7 beta drivers!

is there something i need to set up differently within traktor? coz when i open up ableton live and cubase it doesnt affect the overall sound of the system like that??

please help someone, any one! thankyou

Check your output routing in Reasons preferences?

I presume you mean asio4all?
Sounds like when asio4all is starting it's disabling your default soundcard

The sounds should come back on when you quit traktor...

i dont use asio4all i use a 1616m emu sound card..

i figured it out... windows 7 must not be fully set up with emu's new win 7 beta drvier yet (hopefully soon) so it can only do windows sounds at 48k... so after i open traktor all i have to do is set the sound card back to 48 andeverything is sweet! i am happy with that until the proper driver comes out! sweeeettt the scare is over! haha
