Hello...
I want to know if anyone has made a midi fighter on the lemur?
A few months back, Ean Golden made a post about the lemur. He said wonders about it but he never made any mappings, never talked again about the product...

hey phaidon i rented my lemur to a local band for two weeks. It will come back tomorrow so i try to make a midi fighter on it.
How do you use your lemur on your system?
Been using it to control Traktor and certain functions in ableton, but after a recent issue, I'm probably going to end up getting M4L and use Mu to control Ableton only
how do you control traktor and ableton at the same time?
do you use two computers and sync thru midi?
or the same computers both softwares?
When you set up your layout in the jazzeditor, you can assign the controls to different midi/osc targets, which can be assigned to different daemons to control multiple midi targets on the same computer. So in ableton you select daemon 2 and in traktor you select daemon 1, and the contols are routed to each program separately. All depends on how you set it up, really. Other than the memory limitation it's almost infinitely configurable. Mu bypasses the memory limit by dynamically loading templates though, so if you use ableton it would be wise to get max 4 live, my next purchase.
if you use traktor and ableton in the same computer, how do you deal with soundwise?
do you use two diferent sound cards or only one sound card with 8 outs for example and 4 for traktor and 4 for ableton?
I use Jack for OSX and route the sound from Traktor Pro into Ableton and then out to the Korg Zero 4 or the M-audio 410, depending on what I'm doing.
