I seem to be having some trouble with playback in Ableton. The sound quality is brutal and im getting all sorts of clicks, pops, and stutters. Changing the latency does nothing and the tracks play fine with an identical latency in Traktor.
Anyone run into this/find a solution? It pretty much makes Ableton useless at this point and there appears to be no good reason for it.
Can you post some details on your system and sound card? I also take it you are in Live 8?

More info is needed indeed. Also, the latency settings in traktor aren't going to be the same settings in ableton as it is much more cpu intensive.
Ok, i've got a 2 year old iMac running little to nothing as far as CPU usage is concerned, the most it gets up to when Live 8 is running like 1/4 usage.
Sound card is a Novation Nio 2/4.
