What to buy for a PA system? HELP NEEDED!

So i have been shopping around a little and have not come to any conclusions. Does anyone have any experience with the Yorkville Elite Excursion series? I need some advice of what to get for djing everything from my basement to venues of around 200 to 300 people. Thanks.

I'm assuming that's US dollars.

have a look around and see if you can find HK Lucas gear anywhere, I'm not sure if you can get something to suit 200 - 300 people in that price range but i can certainly say they make great PA systems.
