Fader knob question
Hey all,
Been lurking here for a little while, and decided I want to try my hand at a DIY controller (I'll start a build thread once I start the process, still need to acquire some of the components). Which brings me to my question:
Where can I find just the knobs/caps for faders? I'd like to have 3 faders in my project: 2 pitch and a crossfader. I picked up the slide pots on allelectronics (the only knob they had that was close to what I wanted was this one and it doesn't mount correctly on the slider). I've also checked Mouser and scoured the almighty Google, but the only ones I could find were replacement parts for Pioneer/Vestax/Rane/etc... that cost more than I'd like to spend.
Any help is greatly appreciated

The problem is not to find supplier, I know over 20. But the problem is being able to order in small or decent quantity <1,000. Neutrik, Cosmocorp, Alibaba, Rean, Waldorf, Sifam and so on are great.
Have a look @ the regular supplier like Mouser, Jameco, Allied, Digikey, Newark. Or better, check if you have an electronic supplier in your country. Here we have a couple of "overstock" "surplus" reseller.

There is no suppliers of such specific goods as slide potentiometer knobs in my country. Rotary 10k pots and knobs i bought yesterday in local radiomarket, but it seems impossible to find a slide pots and knobs in Belarus.
Thanks for the additional suppliers links, i`ll try to find knobs at Newark

Have a look at Mouser, I know they have an office in Germany and UK.
On your side, also have a look @ Maplin, RS Components (http://www.rs-components.com/index.html)
Depending of the supplier, some may call it Slider Knob instead of Fader knob.
Good luck and keep us posted.
