Which is the best design for a DJ-blog

I'm currently working with a designer on a new header-design for my blog.
We're a bit stuck at the moment. I'm not really satisfied but also don't know what else we can try.
Here are some drafts. The Hedgehog-logo is just a placeholder.

Please vote and tell me what you think about them/how we could improve it!

I think you should tone down the header. It takes up nearly half the screen!

I picked one, but I agree. The headers should be toned down a bit. And just a hint if your getting a pop up on the images hit the square, not the X to close them without being redirected to the add site.

voted green theme. with a simple jquery script, you could have the header float to the top of the screen and hide half of it, displaying the image on entry, then allowing the user to see more of the blog after load.

They're all pretty similar dude... and agreed, all a bit too big
