Aren't those just spotlights?
DMX controllers, as far as I know, you won't be able to use it for MIDI.
Oh I wasn't sure just never have seem them before. It's amazing set up they use including the BCR2000s and the minimoogs, I thought their live set up would be something much different.
yeah i thought there would be a doepher in there somewhere! but as mentioned they're dmx, although i remember reading that they also used ableton to control lighting by converting midi to dmx etc..
You could be right Chris. I am not that aware of DMX to MIDI conversions.
I think it's the Manta. Saw it in this CDM post (Videos!)

They literally are lights. Possibly "Color Kinetics LED Colorblast 12" but I'm not too sure.
I actually posted a few days ago wondering if anyone managed to use lighting desks as midi controllers....having used some BIG ones in the past, they offer a bucketload of faders / buttons for little money.
you CAN get conversion boxes like this one and I believe the behringer eurolight can be used as a midi controller out of the box!

I think DP might be using a custom version harmonic midi controller like the Axis 64 .. never seen a lighting controller like that and the hex pattern makes sence for midi notes
