I voted second, but the first would win if you got rid of that crummy gradient in the BG. Just make it black, red, or blue. Or, make it a bitmap gradient, but not a gradient.

turn the opacity down and put a little blur on that spot light and you will have a really good cover there. :D

Real close, the second one gets it for looking more punkrock.

The first image is nice, but in a 1990s hobby/personal website kinda way.

Love the second one, hate the first one. Looks like a 12 year old made it in Paintbrush.

But the 2nd one is great.
