Plug and play DSP audio processor $125!

I've been searching for an audio processor to handle my needs for my bi-amping pa tops/subs and came across this. Runs off usb or ac.

I'm not quite sure what this does but could this be used as a replacement for my audio 2 dj? Use as a sound card AND control speaker parameters. Sounds like quite the piece of equipment if it does.

The more I look into this the more I like it! I'm definitely going to buy one and try it out. You can even hook up a mic to your computer and test your speakers through the software. From what I read it sounds like they can do custom components if bought in stock. I sent them an email asking if they could build a minidsp in a box with the streaming usb chip added in as well as a 1/4" headphone out and an extra set of inputs. If it works with time coded inputs from records in Tractor Scratch then it sounds like one could have the functionality of an audio dj 4 and full control of over their speaker management in real time in one tiny box at an affordable price. Sounds like there's money to be made here. Someone with more knowledge on the subject should look into this. Here's a link to a review-

Time code function in tracktor scratch is limited to NI official sound cards (and certified mixers) only.

Are you SERIOUSLY having latency issues with a decent quality issues? Jesus man. How can you notice it at all? Are you some kind of cyborg?

Too bad about timecoding. It's not an issue of latency, It's more of an issue of convenience and function at a low cost.....if Mobile DJing with laptops or sound systems is your thing. Even if they could build a box with a streaming chip, headphone out instead of a set of inputs, and it worked with Traktor, it would be a huge benefit to any one that owns Traktor and a speaker. The next cheapest audio processor is the Behringer DCX2496.

Behringer DCX2496 $250.

Audio DJ 2 $100.

Vs.

Minidsp board $100 ($125 with case)

Streaming Board $55

So....

Minidsp with streaming board $155> Audio DJ 2 + DCX2496= $350

I like the look of these... will be interesting to see how well they work with Traktor.

Do they offer a soundcard with 2 stereo outs? (one stereo for monitoring)

2 rca ins and 4 outs with the possibility to connect a streamer chip for recording/payback. The only downside to that is it's not all in a box and you would need an rca to 1/4 adaptor for headphones.

I emailed them and they had no idea as for using the product for DJing purposes. said that they are working on a box with the streaming function built in. I explained to them that if their product is superior to the audio 2 in terms of latency that that would be a pretty good selling point right there, let alone total speaker management. As far as connectivity, I would just use a usb midi mixer to connect CDjs and turntables or what have you.
