recording from reel to reel

Hi

My father collects reel to reel audio and wants to record some quality digital files from them. He is looking for a cheap interface (with two rca ins) with included software to do this. I dont know much about studio interfaces and have only used audacity which would work fine. Could someone point me in the right direction.

I used Audacity to convert a handful of cassettes tapes yesterday and it worked great. I went out of the headphone plug on the tape deck straight to the in on the computer. Trainspotter was created for converting vinyl and has direct access to discogs from inside the software to help with tagging. Take a look at that.
